The National Capital Trackers have been operating “O" gauge model trains in Washington, Northern Virginia, and suburban Maryland since 1991. We specialize in running trains via wi-fi using tablets and cell phone apps designed by MTH and Lionel. Club members of every age enthusiastically share with the public their passion for America’s Greatest Hobby, model railroading.​

 

When building your own modules, innovation and imagination are the only limits to designing scenery. We have easy-to-follow standards for module construction. New club members can also buy an existing module. We schedule train shows throughout the year, so the calendar is full of opportunities to contribute a module to our large layouts at public venues and to run your favorite locomotives.​​

 

We are a 501(C)3 organization that sets up layouts at railroad museums and public libraries, senior citizen centers and Veterans homes.
